These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and [legal business name] ("Hintzi", "we", "us"), the maker of the Hintzi desktop app, website and related services (together, "Hintzi"). By creating an account, installing the app or using Hintzi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Hintzi.

1. What Hintzi does

Hintzi is an assistant that looks at your screen when you ask it to and suggests, step by step, how to do something in the software you're using: it highlights where to click and explains what to do. Hintzi only gives guidance. It never clicks, types or changes anything on your computer for you.

2. Hints can be wrong

Hintzi uses artificial intelligence. Its hints are usually helpful but can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. You decide whether to follow a hint and you are responsible for what you do on your computer. Take extra care, and check with a qualified person or the software's official help, before doing anything that could delete data, change security settings, spend money or affect other people. Don't rely on Hintzi for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions.

3. Your account

You must be at least [minimum age, e.g. 18] years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian where the law allows.
Give us a real email address and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
Each plan can be used on a limited number of computers at the same time. Accounts are for one person and can't be shared.
Tell us straight away at [support email, e.g. support@hintzi.com] if you think someone else is using your account.

4. Plans, payment and cancelling

Paid plans and credits are charged in advance through our payment provider. Prices and what each plan includes are shown before you pay.
Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds: [your refund policy, e.g. no refunds for partial periods except where the law requires].
We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
Unused hints don't roll over to the next period unless your plan says so.

5. Fair use: what you may not do

Copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Hintzi app or service, or try to get its source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
Resell, rent, sublicense or share access to Hintzi, or use it to build a competing product.
Get around plan limits, device limits, security or payment, or use Hintzi through automated scripts.
Use Hintzi to break the law, to harm others, or to get into systems, accounts or data you're not allowed to access.
Overload, attack or disrupt our servers.

6. Your content and the screen

When you ask Hintzi a question, the app sends your question, a screenshot of the app you're using and the names of the buttons on screen to our servers so we can work out the next hint. You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to process it only to provide Hintzi to you. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and how long we keep it. Please avoid asking for help while confidential information you're not allowed to share is on screen.

7. Our rights

Hintzi, its software, design, name and logo belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app while your account is in good standing and you follow these terms. Feedback you send us may be used to improve Hintzi.

8. Third-party software and services

Hintzi helps you with software made by other companies. We're not responsible for that software. Hintzi uses trusted service providers, for example for artificial intelligence and payments, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving Hintzi and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Hintzi available but can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you by email or in the app before it applies.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app or on the website. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put others at risk or haven't paid. Where reasonable we'll warn you first.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hintzi is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or for actions you take based on a hint. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [country / state], and disputes will be handled by the courts of [city / country], unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
